Follow-up from day one: how about the indulgence that you really know you shouldn’t take part in (for whatever reason – cost/politics/decorum/health/wellness), but that allure is just too darned appealing to resist?
and a new thread (or not): favorite find at a thrift store, used book/music store and/or garage sale?
Brad: my first answer is that I’m appallingly physically lazy, and so have never had a regular exercise routine, even though I know it is one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself. I’m trying to change that now, but it’s incredibly difficult for a sloth like me.
I’ll have to think more about the second one!
What happened to your distro?
LSM: oh, that is a blast from the past! I ran it for about a year, and then my husband lost his job, and I started waiting tables again and just ran out of the time and money to do anything hobby-ish. It was a good experience though.
If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be?
Laura: that’s a good one. I think I would try one of two paths: either trying to make a freelance writing career happen, or work in a bakery. I wouldn’t want to own a bakery, but I would love to make cupcakes and pastries all day long.
When will it stop being so damn hot??
