A Patchwork Life

My record of publications is longer in nonfiction than poetry, but trust me when I say that will not be true for long (read that sentence with a swaggering confident tone, okay?). I have published Every Angel, which I am very proud of, and recently began submitting again after a hiatus (wish me luck!).

I’ve also completed several workshops on the ekphrastic form with poet Christine Stewart, in conjunction with the Baltimore Museum of Art. As a result, a poem of mine, “Strange Fruit: How To Sing A Name We Cannot Know,” is featured in the museum’s new audio tour, which launched in January 2009.
